Lithology and Thickness

Limestones, dolomitic limestones, dolomites. In places, conglomerate-breccias lie at the base. Thickness 30-460m.

Fossils

Contains foraminifers - Endothyra inflata Lip., Quasiendothyra communis Raus., Quasituberitina magna Pojark., Eoendothyranopsis michoti (Con. et Lys.), Glomospirella Spirillinoides Grozd. et Leb., Eostaffella prisca Raus., brachiopods - Camarotoechia cf mitcheldeanensis Vaugh., Dictyoclostus burlingtonensis Hall., Fusella tornacensis Kon. and others, characteristic of the Tournaisian-Visean age.


Age 

It is attributed to the Tournaisian-Visean stage of the Lower Carboniferous. In the Strat. Sl. (439) it is attributed to the Tournaisian stage. On the State Geol. Map-500 of Uzbekistan (460) the suite is assigned a Tournaisian-Visean age.
